Social Distance – it is critical to ensure that you maintain a 2m distance between yourself and anybody that isn’t in your household, depending on the government guidelines. This includes shopping, working, visiting friends and family, and also exercising. Keeping a safe distance between yourself and others outside of your household can help to reduce the spread of the virus.
Wear PPE – It has been made mandatory in the UK for PPE to be worn on all public transport. Wearing the appropriate PPE if necessary, may help to protect you, and others around you from catching the virus, especially due to coughs, sneezes. It is important to note that PPE should be worn and used safely and effectively.
Regular hand washing – Frequent hand washing is the most effective way to prevent the spread of coronavirus, especially before and after touching surfaces that may have been touched or used by others. If there is no access to handwashing stations, using hand sanitiser can also be effective in reducing the spread.
Diet – A healthy diet is key to helping to support immune health. Ingredients such as turmeric, green tea, ginger, honey and more are great at helping to boost the immune system. The immune system plays a vital role in helping the body to fight off viruses and infections, and without the immune system we would not be where we are today.
The Endocannabinoid System (ECS)
The endocannabinoid system is a complex cell signalling system within the body. The endocannabinoid system is made up of cannabinoids, receptors, and enzymes. Whilst
endocannabinoids are made within the body (endogenous cannabinoids), The ECS can also be stimulated with plant-based cannabinoids, which as a result can help bring balance to the body.
The endocannabinoid system works by binding with receptors in the body to help the body to achieve homeostasis, these receptors help to regulate functions in the body such as sleep, appetite, fertility, mood, the metabolism and immune system. This as a result may aid the body in fighting off antibodies.
